Review Copies

For ordinary home or office printing:

• Print two workbook pages on each 8.5 × 11-inch sheet.
• Print double-sided when available.
• Cut sheets to size.
• Staple along the left edge or booklet fold.
• Print coloring and activity editions in black and white unless color is necessary for review.

Professional Production Target

• Finished trim: 5 × 7 inches
• Interior: uncoated writing-friendly stock
• Cover: heavier matte stock
• Interior bleed: only where artwork reaches the page edge
• Safe margin: minimum 0.375 inch
• Binding margin: minimum 0.5 inch where required
• Page count: preferably divisible by four for saddle stitching

Writing Considerations

Interior paper must accept:

• Pencil
• Crayon
• Colored pencil
• Ballpoint pen
• Gel pen

Avoid glossy interior stock.
